Reemployment Tax (State Unemployment Insurance Tax)
The Florida Department of Revenue administers the state’s reemployment tax. The agency’s website is: https://floridarevenue.com/taxes/taxesfees/Pages/reemployment.aspx.
Apply for Florida Reemployment Tax Number either online or in person.
Online
An employer can register online by completing Florida Business Tax Application.
- Click Create New User Profile
- Enter Username, email address and password
- Click Create New User Profile
In person or via mail
An employer can also register by completing paper Form DR-1, Florida Business Tax Application, which then can be submitted in-person at a Florida Revenue Service Center or by mail.
