New Report: Employee Turnover

Feb, 20 2026
The new Employee Turnover Report experience gives HR and business leaders a clear and actionable view of employee turnover across the organization.
Our refreshed Employee Turnover report brings your key retention metrics into a single, intuitive dashboard. You can now view total employee turnover for any date range and see exactly how many employees were active versus terminated during that period. A companion widget highlights your average monthly turnover, helping you quickly spot whether recent months are trending better or worse than your long‑term baseline.
Turnover is also broken out month‑by‑month, with a dedicated bar chart that separates voluntary and involuntary terminations. This makes it easy to answer questions like “When did turnover spike?” and “Was it driven more by resignations or terminations?” Filters for department and location let you drill down to specific teams or sites so leaders can focus on the areas that need the most attention.
At the bottom of the report, new visualizations summarize termination reasons for both voluntary and involuntary exits. For example, you can see what percentage of voluntary departures were due to better opportunities elsewhere, relocations, or personal circumstances, alongside involuntary reasons such as performance or attendance. These insights help you move beyond raw counts to understand why people are leaving and where to invest in improvements.
This new Employee Turnover Reporting experience turns scattered data into a clear narrative about your workforce health, enabling HR and leadership to monitor trends, pinpoint problem areas, and measure the impact of retention initiatives over time.
