Same Day PTO in Multiple Categories

What Changed and Why
Previously, Eddy only allowed one time off category per day. This update removes that limitation, letting employees submit time off requests across multiple categories on the same date—for example, using a few hours of sick leave and a few hours of vacation on the same day.
Setting a Maximum Hours Per Day Limit
Admins can now define the maximum number of hours an employee can request off in a single day. This setting lives in Admin Settings > Time & Attendance > Time Off Requests, under a new section called Maximum Time Off Per Day. The default is 24 hours, which matches the previous system behavior. The value cannot exceed 24 hours. Once saved, a confirmation indicator will appear next to the section header.
What Employees See While Requesting Time Off
The Request Time Off card now reflects daily hour context in real time. As employees enter hours across a date range, any day that already has approved or pending time off will surface a note showing previously requested hours against the allowed maximum. This helps employees stay within the limit without needing to cross-reference other requests manually.
How Errors and Warnings Appear to Employees
When an employee submits a request that conflicts with the daily limit, they'll see one of two messages depending on the situation. If the hours entered on a single day exceed the org's maximum, an error message will appear inline on that date row, blocking submission until the hours are reduced. If hours have already been requested for a day through a separate request, an informational message will appear showing how many hours are already accounted for and what the daily maximum is—allowing the employee to adjust before submitting.
