Scheduling admin with location restrictions

Feb, 6 2026
Take control of scheduling without giving up control of your data access. Our new Scheduling Admin with location restrictions feature lets you safely delegate schedule management while keeping permissions tightly aligned to your worksites.
Now, you can assign a dedicated scheduling admin role to the managers who build and publish schedules, without granting them full HR access. Owners and HR leaders decide exactly who can manage schedules and which locations they can see, right from the admin settings page. This keeps sensitive information limited to the right people, while still freeing up your team to get schedules built fast.
Location-based restrictions ensure each scheduling admin only manages the employees and shifts tied to their assigned locations, including any secondary locations workers may have. If a manager has access to Location A, they can schedule anyone whose primary or secondary location is set to A—no accidental cross-location access. This is ideal for multi-location businesses that need clean separation between stores, franchises, or worksites.
Because scheduling permissions live alongside your other admin roles, it’s simple to review and update access as your organization grows. Toggle on the scheduling role, choose the locations they can manage, and you’re done. With Scheduling Admin and location restrictions, you get the perfect balance of flexibility for your managers and security for your business.
