Eddy now makes it easy for agricultural employers to properly set up and pay H‑2A workers while staying aligned with IRS guidance.
On the employee Pay tab, admins can configure two new fields: H‑2A visa status and agricultural worker (farmworker) status, each with clear default selections and editable options.
Helpful tooltips explain when a worker qualifies as H‑2A and how the IRS defines a farmworker so your team can classify employees correctly without digging through tax publications.
When your company is marked as an agricultural employer in payroll settings, these questions appear automatically, ensuring the right data flows through to Check for accurate tax handling and reporting.
