Spring is in full swing, and with it come some great new updates to Eddy. We’re excited to release a handful of new features as well as some product updates to our customers. Here’s a summary of what’s new:

Offer Letters

Eddy has its origins in hiring. In fact, the first product we ever built was our applicant tracking system (ATS). While we’ve since added dozens of new features to create a fully functioning HRIS, time-tracking, and payroll system, we haven’t forgotten about our hiring roots.

We’re excited to announce the ability to create and send offer letters in Eddy. Now, once you’ve determined which candidate you’d like to join your company, you can place them in the “Offer” stage of the candidate pipeline and automatically trigger the process to create and send an offer.

ATS Drag and Drop

Creating an offer is simple. We ask for inputs like start date, pay rate, and other job-related information and then allow you to create templates that automatically place the inputs into your offer letter.

Sending an offer to a job candidate is as easy as a click of a button. The job candidate will receive an email letting them know they’ve received a job offer from your company and will be able to sign the offer letter digitally. This is done in a way that doesn’t require the candidate to create an Eddy account to read or sign the offer, making the process seamless and simple.

Of course, you’ll want to know when a candidate views and signs their offer. We’ve built automatic notifications into the experience so you’ll know exactly when they accept!

Our ATS has always been a vital and core piece of our product, and we couldn’t be more excited to improve the experience. For a full demo on this new feature, check out the video below.

Role-Based Pay

There are jobs in many industries that necessitate an employee to work in different roles at different times. For example, in the restaurant industry, sometimes an employee might work as a server, while other times they may work as a hostess. These roles often have different pay rates. It’s therefore critical to be able to track an employee’s timesheet to a specific role so they get paid the correct amount.

This new update will allow you to assign multiple roles to employees who need them and track their pay and time accordingly. For a full breakdown of what this looks like, check out the video below!

Employee ID Numbers

There are many different ways companies organize, segment, and identify their employees. One specific way that we’ve heard from customers is to assign employee ID numbers. Employee ID numbers allow HR admins and leaders to track employee data and information using a unique identifier that helps them properly associate the data with a specific employee.

Our latest update adds an employee ID number field to every employee’s profile. This way, if your company chooses to use employee ID numbers, you’ll be able to easily track them in Eddy.

Incremental Time-Off Requests

Sometimes, you just want to be a little more precise. When it comes to employees taking time off, the details matter. We heard from numerous customers that they’d like to allow employees to request time off in more precise increments–even down to two decimal places.

We brought this request to life and have made it accessible to everyone. Employees can now request time off in smaller increments. They can use decimals in their requests to get more granular about the time they’re taking.
