I believe in the power of industry and education coming together to solve our greatest challenge – aptly preparing and developing early career talent to positively impact our world through gaining career ready skills and access to developmental job opportunities. In my most recent role with Talent Path, I was afforded the opportunity to champion this cause by developing public-private partnerships with universities and organizations by focusing on sourcing, developing, training, and retaining underserved populations into technical career paths. I drove positive organizational change by leading a team of passionate, caring individuals to ensure a continued focus on the consultant experience, talent management, and employee engagement efforts. Previously, I served thousands of graduate business students through six years of service as a career strategist/coach and program manager. Over the course of my time in higher ed career services, I recognized my calling for helping others identify, develop, and communicate their personal brands in order to take the next step in their careers. Recognizing the beauty in each individual’s strengths - and enhancing their ability to see it and communicate it - is a skill I utilize every day in my leadership style. Working in higher education also afforded me the experience of designing and implementing creative learning & development programming, and meeting with Fortune 100 & 500 companies to understand their hiring needs in order to advise students on accessible career pathways. I have continuously pursued leadership roles in which I flex my strategic mindset while building innovative programming and initiatives aimed at serving the leadership development needs of teammates, employees, and students I have worked with.
