What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
Some words of advice that I would share with someone new in HR is to be proactive in your development and learning. Cross train with others in and out of your department, do networking lunches and calls with people inside and outside of HR, and volunteer for assignments outside of your comfort zone.
