Stephen is a customer service focused, people first HR leader. Prior to starting his HR career, Stephen spent 13 years in the USAF as a Military Policeman and an Instructor of Leadership and Management. Since then Stephen has been a full time college professor and in multiple HR positions, starting at HR Analyst, all the way to his current position as an HR Director. Stephen is husband and father first and HR leader second.
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
Please always remember that HR is a people business, don't forget that you can be kind and respectful even in the most difficult of situations and conversations.
