While she has a wide variety of People experience and skills, her favorite is employee relations and employee experience. What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?

My words of advice would be find a HR mentor and never stop learning! HR is ever changing and it is important to keep informed. Watch webinars, read HR articles, join forums, find your support systems, and always believe in yourself!

Employee Tardiness

“I didn’t hear my alarm clock!” “I’m so sorry I’m late, we had a hard morning with the kids.” “I had to dig myself out of the snow this morning.” Do any of these sound familiar to you?
