Niki has been in the HR industry for about 4.5 years. Started working for a large non-profit as a Recruiting Coordinator, and just recently got a new position as an HR Generalist in an IT company that is a government contractor.
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
HR field is hard to break into, so I would start with temporary agencies just to gain any HR experience. Lots of companies end up offering permanent positions to those are hard workers and prove themselves to be an asset to the organization.
