This is reneging, and we must understand why it happens in order to prevent it and respond appropriately.

Karissa built her career non traditionally, by jumping into the workforce and climbing the ladder to leadership through a variety of roles and industries. As a leader, Karissa focuses on community engagement, building and maintaining positive relationships, inclusive recruiting, and brings a servant attitude to ensure efficient and happy employees. Off the clock, Karissa fosters dogs, expresses herself through various crafting projects, and spends a tremendous amount of time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes.

The only person who will know if you’re ready for a new role or to take the next step in your career is YOU. Advocate for yourself and never settle!
