What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?

If at first you don’t succeed, keep trying. Nothing in HR is every set in stone. It’s an ever changing environment and adjustments will need to be made. Doesn’t mean you fail if something doesn’t work or needs to be adjusted, it just needs to be tweaked.
