What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
HR is a wide pool with room for lots of different skills and interests, so don’t be afraid to jump in. What other field lets you plan a party, give a training, file some paperwork, analyze some data, coach a manager, explain insurance plans, analyze salary ranges, and maintain multiple software, all in one day?!
