Erica is a passionate advocate of people. Over her career in HCM sales, she gravitated towards creating strong relationships and solving her clients challenges. In November 2021, she transitioned into HR full time and is a generalist in her practice. In April 2022, she passed her aPHR exam. Her specialties include immigration HR, onboarding, training and development. She loves spending time outside her HR practice by spending time with her family, 2 dogs and enjoying playing the ukelele!
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
As someone who transitioned from HR sales to practicing HR, the best advice is to accept you will not (and never really) know everything. Ask for help, acknowledge mistakes and learn everyday!
