Emmalee currently holds the title of Director of HR and Communications; she has held various positions within Human Resources. She has a decade of experience within the Human Resource and Legal field. Majority of her time has been spent working for non-profits but she does have experience working in the private sector. She enjoys working with people and wants to put the HUMAN back in Human Resources. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her employees.
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
If you are just getting started in HR, my advice would be to find a mentor. There is so much value in a good mentor, one that genuinely wants to help you grow and succeed.
