The experiences and training I gained during that time accelerated my growth in the HR/ Talent Acquisition realm and have prepared me for my role today: Joining ACU- Dallas on its mission to bridge the talent gap and help students throughout Texas realize their potential and find their path to success! Through the business partnerships we have built and aim to build, we can provide students with career pathways that allow them to gain the experience and skills necessary to enter the workforce and exceed expectations.
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
I would say the most critical skill an HR professional needs is adaptability. HR is changing and evolving faster than ever due to the growth and advancement of technology.
