What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
There is room for everyone in HR. From the marketer/salesperson (recruiter), the quant person (analyst), the advocate (equity officer), and the introvert (payroll or other admin functions). This is of course not an exhaustive list but the point is there is a place for every skill and personality. I love HR because I can be myself and bring all of my talents to the table.
