What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
It is a tough gig at times, but you cannot forget the human aspect of “Human Resources”. I have found that a lot of professionals within the industry are simply going to work and the asking of why things are done and to recall we are dealing with people and their direct lives can sometimes be forgotten. Yes decisions need to be made, but our felt pens can sting harder than words at times.
