What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
As an HR professional, the goal is to create a positive and wholesome culture within your workplace. Recruiters determine which candidates are the best culture fit. Onboarding is the first experience new hires have in their new job. Diversity and Inclusion should create a sense of belonging for employees regardless of race, religion, and sexual orientation. Learning and Development provide employees with the training and knowledge necessary to do their jobs. When all of these aspects of HR function properly, employees enjoy coming to work because of the healthy culture.
