Ashley Baquie
Ashley Baquié has 25+ years of human resources and business operations experience. She is currently providing fractional CHRO, HR consulting and executive coaching services to growth and mid-sized clients. Previously, Ashley served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at MorganFranklin Consulting, following HR leadership roles at Unisys, SPS and the IMF. Ashley has served on the Board of Directors for the District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH) since 2017, and supports several charitable organizations including American Diabetes Association, Luke’s Wings, St. Jude and So Others May Eat. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian and Soviet studies, with a minor in Spanish, from Tulane University.
What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?
Be strategic about your HR career from the beginning. Find what you aspire to achieve and back engineer a roadmap. Stay curious and humble, and keep developing yourself--both hard and soft skills. Work on your weaknesses, but get clear on your strengths and find roles/opps that let you thrive as your authentic self.
