With a personalized license plate that literally reads "HRGUY", Trevor is pretty passionate about the field of work that he chosen to indulge in! He has found Human Resources to be a very enjoyable career!

Trevor had exposure to various disciplines, such as: Recruiting, Worker's Compensation, Learning and Development, Benefits, Associate Relations, etc. Being a well-rounded Generalist has given him the ability to widen and deepen his knowledge and expertise in the HR field.

He's also had the opportunity to work in various industries, including: Restaurant and Entertainment, Call Center, Retail, Non-Profit, Transportation, Printing Services, and Defense/Aerospace.

Continual progress and development keeps Trevor going! Inside and outside of work, he loves and appreciates opportunities to learn and serve. Whether it be his children's school, Toastmasters International, Sigma Phi Epsilon, or other community groups, he finds different ways to stretch and grow personally and professionally.

Trevor currently leads a small HR team that serves upwards of 700-800 associates. They continue to look for ways to add value for our Operations partners, while still being great advocates for the associates, and keeping an engaged and dedicated workforce.

What words of advice and encouragement would you give to someone just starting out in HR?

Some advice to give to someone starting out in the HR field is to remember to take care of yourself, while taking care of others. HR professionals can tend to spend a lot of time focusing on others, that they forget to give some focus back to themselves!
